The MF series UV power sources are used with all single-lamp UVDynamics water disinfection products. The MF series is one of the most advanced UV power sources available anywhere. Microprocessor control with programmed lamp start ensures adequate lamp pre-heating and predictable ignition voltages, resulting in maximum lamp life and reliable lamp ignition at all ambient temperatures. Lamp current is constantly controlled regardless of the AC line voltage variations.

MF series ballasts have the following features:

• True Lamp Current Detection: Enables the MF series ballast to control lamp current more precisely and accurately verify lamp operation, even at lower input voltages.
• Isolated Low-Voltage Solenoid Output: Simply install and connect the solenoid valve. No external transformer, line voltage solenoid valves, or accessory cables are required.
• Lamp Change Reminder Timer: Reminds users that the lamp has reached the end of its rated life.
• Application-Specific Design: The MF series is designed to operate low-pressure germicidal lamps and is not a repackaged lighting ballast. Excellent thermal management and only the highest-specification critical components ensure long life.
